In Delray Beach, located in South Florida, you’ll find this small but super interesting place to visit: The Girl’s Strawberry U-Pick.
This picturesque location offers visitors the opportunity to pick their own fresh strawberries straight from the fields. With its rows of ripe, juicy strawberries, it is a popular destination for families and fresh fruit lovers.
I would describe it as a small store and museum of vintage items, but with a pizzeria (really good) and ice cream. In the back there is also a small zoo where you can pet the farm animals. Depending on the season, you will be able to pick up your own strawberries.
We stayed for about an hour at The Girl’s Strawberry U-Pick. We strolled around the place, check out the huge collection of non-common and vintage items. it was raining the day when we visited, so we just didn’t feel like going into the petting zoo, we just bought a pizza and sat to the side to enjoy it.
To get there from Miami, take I95 north to Exit 52 (Atlantic Ave) and head west and turn right onto S Military Trl. The address is: 14466 S Military Trl, Delray Beach, FL 33484.
The atmosphere is very nice, the pizza was very good and the ice creams the line was always long so I imagine excellent.
If you are visiting Delray Beach and The Girl’s Strawberry U-Pick, do not doubt to go, nearby, to Morikami Museum & Japanese Gardens, which it’s gorgeous!
