Pandora – The World of Avatar at Walt Disney World.

At Animal Kingdom you can find this incredible ‘land’ that takes you to another planet.

Imagine walking through those beautiful, out-of-this-world landscapes that you see in James Cameron’s movie Avatar. Well, here you don’t have to imagine them, like everything in Disney, everything comes true. You can even fly on a Banshee!

In the following video I will tell you everything you can find in this area of Animal Kingdom, including where to eat and where to buy Pandora souvenirs.

2 attractions, a slow-motion one and a simulator that will make you fly over spectacular places in Pandora, of course … first you have to become an avatar to be able to travel around this planet.

Delicious desserts and dishes that you will find in Satu’li Canteen or in a small kiosk in Pongu Pongu. Do not miss the ‘Pongu Lumpia’ that comes with pineapple and cream cheese or one of my favorite drinks ‘Night Blossom’.

One bonus tip: the most popular attraction in the park is Flight of the Passage. You can spend up to 2 hours in line to get on the ride. Sure, time can pass a bit faster while enjoying the view with the scenery and details that you may encounter along the way. Before Covid-19, you had the FastPass + option that was sometimes difficult to find. I recommend 2 options: 1) arrive a little before the park opens and walk directly to the attraction, or 2) wait until the end of the day when the waiting time might drop. Of course, always check the My Disney Experience App to see the waiting time of the attractions.

Also now due to the pandemic, quick service restaurants like Satu’li Canteen, you have to order from your phone using the app before entering the restaurant. So without thinking twice, it is better to have the My Disney Experience app on your mobile before visiting the parks.
